PRAGYA KENYA
 

Pragya (Africa) is working for the sustainable development of the most vulnerable and underserved regions in the continent and the vulnerable & marginalised communities that inhabit them, as well as the conservation of its sensitive ecosystem. Grassroots projects are being undertaken in the remote and deprived parts of the highlands of East Africa, and in the dryland savannah belt. Research on critical issues and policy needs is followed by necessary advocacy and support to other state and non-state actors.

Pragya (Africa) is registered as an international organization in Kenya, and operates from an office in Nairobi.

While all areas in the highland and savannah eco-zones fall within our ambit, our current grassroots work covers parts of the Rift Valley in western Kenya and northern Kenya. We aim to expand our scope in the near future to cover similar regions in Tanzania and Ethiopia. Our work in Africa is delivered through a small team and our office in Nairobi, Kenya.
