About us
Farming in the Himalayas has it’s own advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are that the soil fertility is good and the temperate weather can help growing many crop varieties. The disadvantages can however be quality of the farm produce, marketing facilities, credit facilities and cost of farm inputs, wastage during transportation and transportation cost. These costs take their toll on the marginal farmer groups on individual level. Hence the need of organizing the farmers into a group and pooling in their resources helps them provide solutions for the issues faced by them.
