Procurement & Sale: The ABC’s will have the upper hand in procurement & sale when compared with individual farmer. The ABC as a body can fix the purchase and selling rates which is feasible for them. The best bargain for the produce will be obtained.

Market Knowledge: The ABC’s will be well informed of the commodity rate, hence the producers too leading to profitable commodity pricing.

Storage Facility & Seed Banks: The ABC’s will pool out storage facility hence the producers can store the perishablese.g. vegetables and sell it. The seed banks managed by the ABC’s will act as the agency which would store seeds so it can provide the seeds to farmers during agriculture period. Seed banks would also preserve the traditional varieties of different crops.

Technological Knowledge & Farm Equipment for Hire: The ABC’s can provide the producers with knowledge of the technical improvements, new agricultural technologies for increased productivity. The producers too can have farm equipments and use them on hire basis.

Linkage: ABC’s as a group can link with Govt. agencies and financial institutions to get financial aid & to leverage schemes.
